金牌小龙始创于2002年，其前身深圳鼎泰丰是一家以经营小笼包而闻名于世的国际连锁餐饮店。为扩大业务范围，原深圳鼎泰丰公司脱离了台湾总店，并且自创了“金牌小龙”新品牌。目前连锁分店已有10家，遍及广州、深圳、香港三地，并计划近期在重庆、杭州、日本、台湾、韩国等地开设多家分店。
