Acandis, founded in 2006, is a privately held German medical device company focused on the prevention and treatment of stroke. We have a passion for technology and our engineers are enthusiastic about creating solutions for unmet clinical needs to improve patient’s lives. We strive towards a comprehensive device portfolio and continuous development of products and services to improve stroke care for neurointerventionalists around the globe. The safety of our products has been demonstrated on the bench top and now the efficacy of those products is being proven in clinical trials. We develop and manufacture for worldwide distribution in Pforzheim, which is located at the edge of the Black Forest recreation area, conveniently situated between Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
